Technical Writer
Net Entertainment is a market-leading vendor of online gaming software. Founded in 1996, we are considered one of the pioneers in Online Gambling. Net Entertainment’s mission is to provide the most reliable and exciting Internet gaming solutions. We provide market leading technology and expertise to online operators to increase their product offerings and profits. Our clients include all well-known brands from the online gaming business.
Net Entertainment is growing and we are now looking for a native English speaker to work as a technical writer as part of our QA team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Writing content for our games, online help systems, and manuals
- Editing peer content
- Liaising with our translation partners regarding localisation
- Proof reading other English language company documentation
- Participating in game testing
The following knowledge/skills are required:
- Fluent English speaker (native speaker preferred) with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to comprehend complex technical information and translate it into clear accessible English
- Sound knowledge of the Microsoft office suite
- Other tools knowledge, for example, Help Authoring or Content Management systems an advantage
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality content in a challenging development environment with short release cycles
- Ability to work with HTML and XML content
You have at least 2 years experience of technical writing in English.
An independent self-starter, you enjoy being part of a dynamic organisation and are equally comfortable working alone or as part of a team.
