What does your commercial model look like?

Net Entertainment offers the CasinoModule™ based on an up-front development fee and an on-going license based on the casino result.

What are the risks with operating a casino and is it a guaranteed income?

The house always has the edge but it is important to recognize that a casino is based on randomness whereby it can generate a negative result from time to time, especially if the player volumes are low. The stability of the performance increases with volume why it is imperative to rapidly increase the number of players as well as the player activity in the casino. Big player wins are natural and the reason why casinos are so popular in the first place and wins should therefore be actively communicated and used in the marketing. When setting up your casino our account managers will work with you to select the games and bet-levels ensuring that your risk exposure is at a desirable level.  

What is the typical financial impact of adding a casino to a betting site and what is the average conversion rate?

The conversion rate varies between sites and client bases, but the average conversion rate for sports books is around 20% of the active player base (measured over three months). Average revenue per player in the casino varies between types of sites but typically lie in the region of 150-200 Euro per player and month.

What are the benefits of a browser based casino solution?

The key advantage of a Browser Based casino solution is availability. The Casino games can be played directly in the web-browser without having to download and install software on the computer. Consequently players are not tied to a single computer enabling them to access the casino wherever they are, at work, at home or even an internet café. In fact, looking at player statistics reveal that significant gaming activity actually is conducted during business hours. The Browser Based casino becomes an integral part of your gaming site where the games are launched in an instance without requiring a separate log-in. In addition they are cheap to run, maintain and operate as you do not need to distribute new software following each upgrade. What is the typical integration period and how many resources do we have to allocate for this?

Typically we will have your casino operational within 30 days of contract signature. The integration efforts required on your side comprise of the creation of the casino lobby and the cashier page. We provide sample code for this as well as a design proposal for the casino lobby in order to minimize your work-load. Typically the work required on your side takes 5-10 man-days.

Can the software be customized?

You have full design freedom regarding the environment around the game clients (casino lobby, cashier etc) as these are designed by you and delivered from your web server. The graphical customization of the game clients includes modification of the colour scheme of e.g. table carpets etc so that they harmonize with the colour profile of your web site and addition of your logotype to the clients and card backs. Through the customization we offer your casino becomes unique which is a key marketing differentiator for your site. 

Can you assist us with the casino lobby design?

Net Entertainment will, based on its industry experience and best practices provide Licensee with a design proposal for the casino lobby.

What type of bonus programs do you offer? Who decides on the bonus programs? Who bears the cost of the bonuses?


CasinoModule™ provides extensive support for both percentages based and fixed amount bonus programs. Standard bonus programs are administered scheduled and managed using intuitive, easy to use wizards whereas advanced bonus programs are set-up with the assistance of our customer support. Our account management team has extensive experience and can provide valuable assistance in designing an optimum bonus program for the goals you wish to achieve. The costs for the bonuses will be carried by you as the operator. 

Do our clients have to log in separately to the casino and register all their details once again?


No, the CasinoModule™ facilitates seamless and transparent auto log-in. The player only have to log onto his sportsbook account and is then automatically logged on to the casino i.e. there is no need for a separate, second log in. A casino account is auto-generated the first time a player access the casino and is populated with the information you decide. There is hence no need for the player to re-register his data in the casino.

We have a bespoke betting system - will you be able to integrate with it?

Most betting sites operate based on bespoke software and we have, to date, integrated with well over 40 different systems (the bulk of which are bespoke) without any problems.

Are there any limitations in performance of your system?

It is important to point out that as opposed to a betting site where even the larger ones deal with relatively low transaction volumes, a casino has to be able to cope with millions of transactions per day. This is an important consideration to review when deciding which vendor to go for. The CasinoModule™ has been designed with this in mind and is proven to handle millions of transactions per day.

Our client database is our most valued asset which we are very protective of, what information will have to be passed over to the casino and share with you?

We fully understand this and the minimum information required by the casino system is a unique customer ID. However, in order to make full use of the statistical and reporting features in the casino management system we recommend that you also pass over; gender, age and country of origin to the casino database - but this is at your discretion.

Many casino systems are sluggish and offer limited reporting functionality. What does your system offer in this area?

Being part of an organization with over 40 years experience of land based casino operation we understand the importance of financial and performance reporting. The CasinoModule™ has a very advanced and comprehensive back-end system. You as an operator are able to manage and follow up your casino operation in real time and in every detail. The management system includes e.g. Dashboard giving an overview, automatic reports, automatic SMS alerts (via SMS), Frequent Player Points, real time casino overview, churn manager as well as bonus & tournament manager. All reports are presented in both table and graphical format to ease usability.

Affiliates are important for our business and it is imperative that we have a system that provides extensive management and reporting functionality. What do you offer in this area?

The CasinoModule™ tracks affiliate traffic such that you can compensate your affiliates correctly also on the revenues generated in the casino.

Is your system verified/approved by a 3rd party?

Our system and Random Number Generator has been tested and approved for randomness by both SKL (National Laboratory of Forensic Science) in Sweden and TST (Technical Systems Testing) in Canada.

Language support is really critical to us, how many do you support and how long would it take to add one that you currently do not support?

We offer the most extensive language support in the industry with 21 languages.

What is the average pay-out ratio of your games and can it be adjusted?

The pay out vary from game to game and over time, however the theoretical pay-out lie in the range of 97 %. The pay-out of the games is hard-coded and we do not adjust these.


What random number generator are you using? Are you able to provide your payout history?

The casino is based on SHA-1 Random Number Generator developed by Sun Microsystems. The RNG complies with the statistical random number tests specified in FIPS 140-2, section 4.9.1. The algorithm implementation complies random number tests specified in FIPS 140-2, section 4.9.1 The algorithm implementation complies with the IEEE P1363 standard and uses the SHA-1 as defined in Secure Hash Standard NIST FIPS 180-1. The RNG and its implementation has been tested and verified by no less than two independent third parties; National Laboratory of Forensic Science (SKL) and Technical Systems Testing (TST) in Canada. As our licensee you can publish these certificates on your web site which extends as a seal of Credibility to your operation.

Customer Loyalty is becoming increasingly important as the Internet becomes more and more crowded. In which ways does your system help us address this?

At Net Entertainment we are continuously working on introducing new features to increase customer loyalty. One such feature is e.g. the "Right Now" function which gives the player real time information about what is happening in the casino - effectively making it come alive. Another is the ability for the player to see his 20 last game rounds which increases confidence of fair play. Our extensive tournament management and scheduling functions are yet another such features that will help you as an operator to attract the players to spend more time at the casino. We also support Frequent Player Points, Casino Tournaments and Bonus Programs to mention a few functions in our system.

Do you have progressive jack-pots?

Yes, we offer numerous games that feature progressive jack-pots. Examples are; Caribbean Poker, Gold Rush and Bingo. We also offer a pooled progressive jackpot.

Do you offer any features that deals with Player Protection?

Player Protection is becoming increasingly important and the CasinoModule is the first casino software solution to provide full support for player protection and it is accredited by G4. We give you as the operator the ability to offer your players the option of setting limitations of their game-play.

It is important for us to have new and attractive games continuously. In that perspective what can you offer?

Net Entertainment provides Software upgrades every 12th week featuring 5-6 new games and new system functions in every release. 

To what extent do you test new features and games prior to delivery?

To be able to always deliver top functionality Net Entertainment follows a rigorous test procedure. The test process is based on a risk based test method. This means 100% test coverage on new modified functionality and no P1 or P2 bugs left in the system.

Operation/Support 

What level of support do you provide?

As part of the standard delivery, the CasinoModule™ is delivered with a range of services including; integration support, training, 24/7 support, hosting and system monitoring, account management and Complementary Software upgrades every 12th week featuring new games and system functions. 

What happens if game play is interrupted in the middle of a game round?

The state of each game round is automatically stored in the system database. This ensures that the last game state seen by the player always is restored when game play is resumed following an interruption due to system, Internet or serve failure, or due to problems at the client side.  

Who will be responsible for Hosting of the casino software?


We will host your casino at our hosting facilities in Costa Rica or Malta where we hold a Class 4 license which means that you need not to worry about server capacity and operation which minimizes the impact on your IT organization. Depending on which hosting location you chose determines if you need to obtain your own casino operating license or not (Malta you will, in Costa Rica you will operate under our license).
