STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
Net Entertainment, the leading provider of non-download Internet casino software, has signed an agreement to provide casino games to international mobile services company, Opera Telecom. Opera Telecom is one of the fastest growing and profitable providers of premium rate mobile services to media companies across the world. Net Entertainment will deliver a complete Internet casino solution, including mobile casino games for use on mobile phones.
Gary Corbett, Managing Director of Opera Telecom, comments, "We see mobile gaming as an important step in offering more value to our customers, which is why we chose to launch our m-gambling division, GamRock. The mobile part of the game suite is an important complement to the Internet games, well in line with our strategy. That's why we are very happy with Net Entertainment, who offers a straight-forward, easy-to-integrate solution that generates business results from day one."
Pontus Lindwall, CEO of Net Entertainment, continues "The launch of our casino games at gamrock.com is a strategically important step as it is our first cooperation with a company within the telecom sector, an area which we have a great belief in for the future. This agreement marks a significant breakthrough for our Mobile Casino Games Suite."
Net Entertainment's Online Casino solutions allow operators to offer gambling from any device -via Internet, on Mobile phones or other. The integrated approach gives customers a single login across all platforms, and easy customer account management for the operator. Most important of all - The mobile games suite is not a new unproven product. On the contrary, it is built on the same powerful game server and backend platform that has been in operation for several years and is widely recognised in the industry for transactional security and best-in-class casino management tools.
"Being the industry leader in No-Download Casino games development, it is quite natural that we have taken the leader position also to deliver word-class mobile games", Pontus Lindwall concludes.
Net Entertainment is the Internet gaming division of Cherry, a company with more than forty years of experience from the gaming service sector. Cherry is listed on the Swedish Stock Exchange (CHER-B) and employs over 1000 people world wide.
In a first step Net Entertainment's games will be offered at the site www.gamrock.com in June 2004.
