NetEnt scoops awards with The Challenge

NetEnt’s The Challenge finished runner-up in the Employee Campaign of the Year at the 2017 Magnet Awards in Stockholm and won the award for Best Video at the Pearl Awards in New York.

At this year’s Pearl Awards, an awards program in the United States celebrating the best in content marketing from organizations worldwide, The Challenge won the award for Best Video.
NetEnt’s The Challenge was also nominated in three different categories at the Magnet Awards, which aims to highlight the best employer brand communication in Sweden. NetEnt did not leave empty-handed as The Challenge finished runner-up in the category Employee Campaign of the Year.

The Challenge
In The Challenge, a team of four NetEnters climbed one of the tallest mountains in the European Alps as part of the unique, own-brand web series. Produced with content agency OTW; The Challenge documented the team’s progress, which was aided through gamification as employees completed tasks to help the four brave climbers with perks.

Taking place over eight episodes, The Challenge presents a rare insight into the workings of a major, multi-national organization. The open and authentic behind-the-scenes look at the progressive tech company provides the gaming industry and beyond, the chance to learn more about NetEnt and its culture.
